Yesterday morning the sunrise here in West Michigan developed slowly and spectacularly. When it had reached its peak, I grabbed the camera, ran down the driveway by the new sign, and took a few images. It was glorious!
I hope you enjoy these two attempts to capture the moments.
Whenever I see such a sunrise, I recall and reflect on the words of Psalter #391 (st.1):
1. When morning lights the eastern skies,
O Lord, Thy mercy show;
On Thee alone my hope relies,
Let me Thy kindness know.
What a wonderful way to start the day – in picture and prayer!
