Recently Ligonier sent me two new review books published by its Reformation Trust Publishing. I make you aware of these for those who may want to read a good book and review it for the Standard Bearer of for this blog.
The first is Good News: The Gospel of Jesus Christ by John MacArthur (2018, hardcover, 148 pp.). The book is currently available for half price at $7.50 at the Reformation Trust website (retail is $15.00).

The second book is a new title from the pen of Steven J. Lawson, The Moment of Truth (2018, hardcover, 238 pp.). This book is also on sale for 50% off at present – $9.50 ($19.00 retail).
The publisher provides this summary of Lawson’s book:
